Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, preparing patients, and ensuring safety.

Requirements include one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification. Travel position offers 36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts, competitive pay, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Preferred Radiologic Technologist license or similar certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents during procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup during procedures.
• Perform sheath removal and manage hemostasis as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient and equipment documentation and logs.
• Assist with inventory management and ensuring sterile instrument storage.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and dosimetry requirements.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and infection control standards.
