MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a contract in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The role involves direct patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Travel position offers weekly pay, housing options or allowance, health insurance, 401(k) matching, and credentialing support. Start date 10/19/2026 for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Sustains a high level of patient care by communicating with patients, families, and physicians and colleagues to address physical, general and psychosocial needs.
• Functions under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assists cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, obtaining catheters, wires and other necessary inventory and medications as ordered.
• Assures compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintains a safe work environment for staff and customers, focusing on patient safety initiatives.
• Prepares and updates patient records accurately and legibly
