Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Chicago, IL. This role requires a current license, appropriate certifications, and prior Cath Lab experience.

The position offers 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts, travel reimbursement, and housing options through MedPro. Comprehensive benefits are available during the assignment.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains high level of patient care through communication with patients, families, and physicians.
• Functions under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assists cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, preparing catheters and medications as ordered.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintains a safe, patient-focused care environment and updates patient records accurately.
