Responsibilities

• Participate in on-call shifts with a 30-minute response time.

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Job Details

• Work four 10‑hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend rotation includes one weekend of on‑call per month
• Approximately 7‑9 call shifts per month with 30‑minute response time
• On‑call hours: overnight from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM; weekends Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM
• 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Handle 12‑15 procedures per day in 3 labs plus 1 hybrid OR
• Work with adult patients only providing interventional cardiac services
• Required certifications: ARRT or RTR, IEMA, BLS, ACLS (RCIS preferred)
• Must have EPIC experience and knowledge of aseptic technique
• Skills include sheath pulling, TR band placement/removal, line securement, EKG/cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience with IABP/Impella required
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Procedural scrubs provided
• May float to IR as needed
• 1 day hospital orientation plus approximately 1 week unit orientation

• Must sign in/out of agency staffing binder for each shift

Facility

This 285‑bed healthcare facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with Magnet designation and serves as a Primary Stroke Center. The facility features a Level III NICU and provides comprehensive cardiovascular services including outpatient and inpatient interventional cardiac procedures. The cardiac catheterization laboratory is equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology including Phillips Fluoro machines and specialized equipment for complex procedures such as TAVR, thrombectomy, and structural heart interventions.
