Position: Cath Lab Technologist – Travel
Location: Covington, Louisiana
Start Date: 06/22/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour days)

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
- Assist in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Sustain a high level of patient care by communicating with patients, families, and physicians; co‑work to address the patient’s physical, general and psychosocial needs.
- Operate ancillary equipment, anticipate and obtain catheters, wires and other necessary inventory and medications as ordered by the cardiologist or radiologist.
- Function under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
- Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
- Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain an environment of excellence, patient‑focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality care.
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
- Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
Qualifications
- Current license in good standing.
- Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
- Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
