Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Danbury, CT. The role requires 3+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab experience and radiography licensure or RCIS certification.

It is a travel position for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts. The ideal candidate will be cross-trained across EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart laboratories, supporting high-acuity procedures and complex interventional cases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab
• Cross-trained cardiovascular technologist with advanced EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart laboratory experience
• Proficient in supporting high-acuity cardiovascular procedures and interventional cases
• BLS and ACLS certified

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in electrophysiology procedures including ablations and device implants
• Scrub cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI and atherectomy
• Support radial and femoral vascular access and device/closure procedures
• Assist with neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures

SHIFT TIMES: 06:30:00 AM - 07:00:00 PM -3 12 hour shifts, variable start time between the hours of 6:00am-8:00 pm. Participation in weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotation as required by department needs

Ideal tech will be a cross‑trained cardiovascular technologist with advanced experience across EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart laboratories.

Proficient in supporting high‑acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures, including emergent and advanced interventional cases.

Required:

State of CT Radiographer license and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI

Minimum 3 years + Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience

Proficient in scrubbing electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems (Micra, Aveir preferred).

Proficient in scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy), and supporting mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing).

Experience supporting neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions

Expertise in assisting with radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices.
