Job Summary: The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist is based in Danbury, Connecticut. This role involves supporting high-acuity cardiovascular procedures, including emergent and advanced interventional cases across electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart laboratories. The position requires a highly skilled professional with experience in complex cardiovascular interventions, supporting various vascular access and device management techniques.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Monday through Sunday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Variable start times between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Participation in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as required by department needs.
• Required Qualifications: State of Connecticut Radiographer license in conjunction with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registry in Radiography (R) and/or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or Electrophysiology Laboratory. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Siemens imaging systems if a licensed radiologic technologist. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification through CCI. Experience in scrubbing structural heart procedures, including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman device placement. Proficiency in advanced cardiovascular imaging and technologies such as Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE), Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), and 3D mapping systems. Experience supporting mechanical circulatory support devices.
