Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Danbury, Connecticut. The role requires extensive experience in EP and cardiac cath labs, with 12‑hour shifts and a 13‑week duration.

A CT radiographer license/RCIS certification is required, plus BLS/ACLS. Ideal candidates will be cross-trained across EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart labs, with proficiency in femoral/radial access and various interventional devices.

Qualifications

• Experience in EP, PCI, ablations, device implants.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization procedures.

• Assist in complex cardiovascular interventions and provide vascular access support.

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Danbury, Connecticut.

SHIFT TIMES: 06:30:00 AM - 07:00:00 PM -3 12 hour shifts, variable start time between the hours of 6:00am-8:00 pm. Participation in weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotation as required by department needs

Ideal tech will be a cross‑trained cardiovascular technologist with advanced experience across EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart laboratories.

Proficient in supporting high‑acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures, including emergent and advanced interventional cases.

Required:

State of CT Radiographer license and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI

Minimum 3 years + Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience

Proficient in scrubbing electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems (Micra, Aveir preferred).

Proficient in scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy), and supporting mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing).

Experience supporting neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions

Expertise in assisting with radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices.
