Job summary

Qualifications

Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. This position requires expertise in electrophysiology (EP) and cardiac catheterization procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and monitor EP lab cases, including device implants, EP ablations, and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) procedures.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems, currently Cerner and transitioning to Epic in the near future.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiology pacing and ablation techniques.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or electrophysiology lab setting.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), and either Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI or ARRT with a limited X-ray license.
• Experience scrubbing and monitoring EP cases is essential.

Work Environment

• 7 labs total, consisting of 3 cath labs, 3 electrophysiology labs, and 1 procedure room.
• Average of 20-25 patients per day.
• On-site management with a designated manager present on each shift.

Scheduling

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, with a shift time of 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Scheduled to work approximately 7-9 weekdays per month, including one weekend per month in the cath lab.
• Orientation consists of 4 shifts specific to the unit.

Dress Code

Hospital-provided scrubs in ceil blue.
