Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms, ensuring adequate stock and sterilization of instruments.
• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures, including site of entry preparation, patient draping, instrument arrangement, and pressure transducer setup.
• Operate and perform quality control on all lab equipment, maintaining knowledge of related devices.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician in catheters and device maneuvering.
• Record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using amplifiers, fluoroscopic equipment, and other monitors.
• Monitor patient hemodynamic status throughout procedures.
• Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• ARRT (R) – CI or CCI‑RCIS certification preferred.
• State‑specific licensing when required.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend. The assignment is 13 weeks long and candidates will travel for the duration.
