Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Carmichael, California. The role focuses on cardiac and peripheral invasive procedures in an acute care setting with a 4x10-hour schedule (0700–1730) and on-call requirements.

Requirements include 2+ years of cath lab experience, RCIS certification, and BLS. Candidates must be able to scrub cardiac and peripheral PCI/STEMI cases and hold an active license for the state of submission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years cath lab experience.
• RCIS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Must scrub for PCI/STEMI cases and support both cardiac and peripheral procedures.
• Active state license for the posting state; compact license accepted if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in for all cardiac invasive procedures and peripheral interventions.
• Assist with procedural setup and equipment preparation.
• Maintain Cerner EMR documentation and patient care standards.
• Participate in call rotations and respond within 30 minutes.
