Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 14-week travel assignment in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, assisting physicians, and maintaining sterile technique in the cath lab, with emphasis on patient safety and high-quality care.

Requirements include one year of Cath Lab Tech experience, current BLS/ACLS, and RCIS/ARRT certification.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications.
• Preferred Radiologic Technologist license and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document procedures, equipment logs, and patient records accurately.
• Maintain readiness of supplies and ensure proper storage of instruments.
