Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. The role entails assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization and related procedures, scrubbing in, and monitoring hemodynamics with 10‑hour days on a 40‑hour week schedule.

Requirements include at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, ARRT (R)–CI or RCIS certification preferred, and state licensing as needed for travel assignments.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Cath Lab procedures.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R)–CI preferred or CCI RCIS certification, and state licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms with stock and sterilization where applicable.
• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures, including site entry, draping, sterilized instruments, catheters, and calibrating pressure transducers.
• Operate and ensure quality control of all equipment in the cardiac cath lab.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician with catheter manipulation.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data with appropriate equipment.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures in the cath lab.
• Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR.
