Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for an 18-week travel assignment in Lexington, Kentucky. The role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients, and assisting physicians, with emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

Must have one year Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES credentials; radiologic license preferred.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations
• PALS or ENPC certifications (preferred)
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Operate imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and monitoring systems
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup and infection control
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and imaging data
• Assist with inventory management and supplies
• Adhere to radiation safety and hospital policies
