Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Travel Cath Lab Tech for an 18-week assignment in Lexington, Kentucky. The technologist will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamic data, and support physicians throughout procedures.

The role emphasizes patient safety, sterile technique, and teamwork with the cardiovascular care team. Eligible candidates have one year of Cath Lab experience and current certifications; travel

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent experience as Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons and stents, and operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
• Maintain documentation including patient records and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure proper storage of sterile instruments and medications.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
