Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and maintain sterile technique.

Requirements include one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications; licensure and PALS/ENPC are preferred. Travel pay includes a comprehensive benefits package and 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup according to infection control and procedural protocols.
Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed; maintain accurate patient and equipment documentation.
Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies; ensure proper storage of sterile instruments and medications.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
