Job summary

The Cath Lab Technologist will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, preparing patients and equipment, monitoring data, and supporting physicians to ensure patient safety.

Applicants should have one year of cath lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification; radiologic licensure and ENPC/PALS are a plus. This travel assignment in Conway, SC offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
• BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents and operating fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
• Maintain documentation and infection control, and assist with equipment and inventory.
