Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Akron, Ohio. This Interventional Specialist in the Catheterization Lab supports cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures, EP studies, and RF ablations across age groups.

Responsibilities include assisting surgeons, scrubbing and monitoring procedures, managing equipment, and ensuring supplies. Requires ARRT licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS within a year, and 3+ years' experience; travel and relocation

Qualifications

• Graduate of a radiologic technology program.
• ARRT Radiography registry with current ODH licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS must be obtained within one year.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with pediatric/adult congenital conditions preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Assist interventional cardiologists by scrubbing into procedures as a sterile scrub assistant and managing x-ray equipment.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and EP ablation procedures.
• Monitor invasive cardiac waveforms and pressure gradients during procedures, communicating vitals and EKG data.
• Order and maintain par levels of equipment and perform general troubleshooting.
• Fulfill other duties to support departmental operations.
