Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Olney, Maryland. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a high-demand cath lab with a dedicated clinical team.

Candidates must have one year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience, current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications. Travel-friendly benefits are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing to support your assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech required.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification required.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons and stents, and operate fluoroscopy equipment.
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring systems and ensure proper functionality.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup according to infection control protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs accurately.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure sterile instruments and medications are stored properly.
