Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Austell, GA. The role requires preparing patients and equipment, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout the process.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, with a preference for Radiologic Technologist licensure. Shift is days, 40 hours per week, travel employment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification; ACLS certification.
• Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons and stents; operate fluoroscopy.
• Maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; ensure infection control.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory and storage of sterile instruments and medications.
