Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Marietta, GA. You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and assist physicians with catheters, wires, and imaging equipment.

Requires one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification. Additional licensing or PALS/ENPC may be preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• One year recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Preferred: Valid Radiologic Technologist license per state regulations.
• Preferred: PALS or ENPC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy equipment.
• Maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and ensure sterile field setup according to infection control protocols.
• Document patient data, imaging results, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure proper storage of instruments and medications.
