Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Clearwater, FL. You will participate in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, while monitoring hemodynamic data under the supervision of the cardiovascular team.
The role requires one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications. Radiologic licensure is preferred.
Qualifications
- One year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
- Active BLS certification.
- ARRT/RCIS/RCES and ACLS certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
- Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
