Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lumberton, North Carolina. The role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS and ARRT(R) or CCI-RCIS preferred, with a 10-hour, days shift and 40 hours per week.

The Cath Lab Technologist will scrub in, monitor, and assist physicians during complex cardiac procedures, ensuring equipment readiness and patient safety throughout the case.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, RCIS/CCI credentials and 1 year of Cath Lab experience are required or preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician with catheter maneuvers.
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic and fluoroscopic equipment in the Cath Lab.
• Prepare procedure rooms, stock supplies, and calibrate equipment for cardiac procedures.
• Document hemodynamic data and patient status throughout procedures.
• Assist in life-saving measures when needed, including CPR.
