Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a dynamic assignment in Lumberton, North Carolina. The role focuses on assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures, monitoring patient status, and maintaining sterile technique throughout the lab.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT (R) or equivalent certification, 1 year of Cath Lab experience, and relevant licenses. The package includes travel, 40 hours/week, and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) - CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification; state licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab rooms with stock and sterilization.
• Prepare patient/equipment for cardiac procedures; set up drapes, instruments, catheters.
• Operate and verify quality control of cath lab equipment.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist physician with catheter maneuvers.
• Record hemodynamic data using available monitoring equipment.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures.
• Assist in life-saving measures including CPR.
