Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The role is 13 weeks long, with 40 hours per week and a 10-hour day shift, in a hospital-based cath lab setting.

The Cath Lab Technologist will scrub, monitor, and assist providers during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring equipment readiness and patient safety. 1 year of experience and appropriate certifications are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
• BLS, ACLS required; ARRT (R)-CI or CCI-RCIS certification preferred.
• State licensure may be required where applicable.
• 13-week travel assignment; 40 hours per week; travel role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardiac lab rooms and maintain stock and instrument sterilization.
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures and set up catheters and transducers.
• Operate and ensure QC of cath lab equipment and scrub in during procedures.
• Assist physician with catheter manipulation and provide hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and participate in life-saving measures as needed.
