Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 20-week assignment in Bakersfield, California. The role focuses on supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of cath lab experience and must hold BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) CI preferred or CCI‑RCIS certification, plus state licensing as required. Work is 40 hours per week, with 10-hour days.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification.
• State licensing as required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician.
• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure stock and equipment readiness.
• Operate and maintain quality control of cardiac lab equipment.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data.
• Monitor the patient’s hemodynamics during procedures.
• Assist with life-saving measures including CPR.
