Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Carmichael, CA. The role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R)-CI or RCIS certification, plus state licensing as needed.

Expect 40 hours weekly, with 10-hour daytime shifts aboard a travel assignment. Responsibilities include scrubbed support, patient prep, lab equipment operation, data collection, and patient monitoring.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Cath Lab required.
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R)-CI or CCI-RCIS certification preferred.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms with stocked, functional equipment and sterilization.
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures, draping and setting up instruments.
• Operate and ensure quality control of all cardiac lab equipment.
• Scrub-in during procedures and assist physician in maneuvering catheters.
• Record hemodynamic data and angiographic data using hemodynamic amplifiers and fluoroscopy equipment.
• Monitor the patient’s hemodynamics during procedures in the cath lab.
• Assist in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR.
