Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Warrenton, Virginia. The role requires current licensure, appropriate Cath Lab credentials, and preferred 2 years of Cath Lab experience, with duties including assisting in interventional procedures and maintaining patient care standards.

The assignment is 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week, days shift, and travel reimbursement. MedPro offers comprehensive benefits and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing in applicable state
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials for Cath Lab
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assist in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain communication with patients, families, and physicians to address physical, general and psychosocial needs of the patient.
• Operate ancillary equipment and assist cardiologist during procedures by obtaining catheters, wires and medications as ordered.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines; deliver cost-effective patient care.
• Contribute to a safe work environment and timely, compassionate patient care.
