MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Danbury, Connecticut. The role supports an interventional cardiology team in a hospital setting with 40 hours per week, days shift.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains communication with patients, families, and physicians to address needs.
• Works under supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assists cardiologist during procedures by handling ancillary equipment and supplies.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintains a patient-focused, timely and compassionate care environment.
• Promotes a safe work environment for staff and patients.
• Prepares and updates patient records accurately.
