Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Louisville, KY. The role involves preparing patients, assisting physicians during interventional cardiovascular procedures, and maintaining imaging and monitoring equipment.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, with preferred Radiologic Technologist licensure. This is a travel position with 36 hours/week and 12-hour days.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures.
Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents during procedures and operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitors.
Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup per infection control protocols.
Maintain documentation for patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
