Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Brownwood, Texas. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, patient prep, and maintaining sterile technique in a high‑pressure lab.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of Cath Lab experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, BLS and ACLS, and a strong commitment to patient safety and teamwork. Travel pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification required.
• Licensure in good standing per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field and infection control.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient and equipment documentation.
