Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 5+ years experience in cardiac catheterization procedures and CA licensure or RCIS certification.

Details

• Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab setting
• Adult patient population undergoing coronary and peripheral vascular procedures
• Procedures include coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemaker insertion, peripheral aortograms, TAVR, Watchman, IABP and Impella placement, and electrophysiology studies
• Uses fluoroscopy and PACS equipment
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Call requirement of 8-12 shifts per month plus one weekend of call per month

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Cath Lab experience required
• ARRT with CA license, or RCIS certification required (license required if applicable)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring Cath Lab procedures required
• Experience with coronary angiograms, PCI, pacemakers, and peripheral aortograms required
• Prior travel experience required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include equipment setup and maintenance, EKG lead placement, access site prep, sterile field maintenance, hemodynamic monitoring, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Accepts local candidates at local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract with only 1 holiday request permitted per contract
• Must complete required lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
