• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and assist with room circulating.
• Maintain sterile field during scrubbing and equipment handling.
• On-call and cross-site coverage as required by assignment.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital, requiring 1+ years experience in cardiac cath lab and angio procedures with scrub competency.

Details

• Acute care, Level I Trauma teaching hospital setting in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirement of about one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
• Float requirement within site and across the health system as needed
• Uses Epic EMR and Philips equipment
• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology work settings

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R certifications required
• Oregon state license (OBMI) required if applicable
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations (adult), left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, and scrub procedures

Additional Information

• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• Accepts local candidates on a case-by-case basis, though standard policy restricts candidates residing within 50 miles of any facility in the system
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with none allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on candidate strength
• COVID vaccination documentation required with no exemptions accepted
