Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Dublin, Ohio. The role requires ARRT certification, ACLS, and at least 2 years of Cath Lab and IR experience, with Ohio licensure and EPIC charting skills.

You will scrub, monitor, and circulate during Interventional Radiology procedures, supporting Interventional Cardiologists and Interventional Radiologists. Work 40 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts, with rotations on weekends/holidays and travel

Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/VIR Radiologic Technologist requiring ARRT certification, ACLS, and at least 2 years of Cath Lab and IR experience.

Details

• Hospital setting in a 110-bed facility
• Cath Lab and Vascular Interventional Radiology (VIR) are the primary needs for this role
• Assists Interventional Cardiologists and Interventional Radiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Duties include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating
• Uses X-ray equipment, fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound imaging modalities
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Weekend and weekday call required
• Travelers are first to float
• EPIC charting experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT certification required
• Ohio Radiologic License (ODH) required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Vascular IR experience preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, positioning, radiation protection, exposure, physics, and medical terminology required
• Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique required
• Knowledge of arrhythmia monitoring and cardiac structures preferred for EP-related duties

Additional Information

• Serves as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist or Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
• May support additional EP, Neuro Interventional, or VIR cases depending on facility needs
• Located in Dublin, Ohio
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• Maximum of 10 days RTO per contract; no RTO allowed during initial weeks of assignment
• More than one call-off may result in termination; no call/no show results in immediate termination
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the most central facility to qualify for standard travel rate eligibility
