Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Oakland, CA. You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and assist physicians with high-pressure procedures in a fast-paced lab.

The role requires one year of Cath Lab experience and current certifications (BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES). Travel pay includes comprehensive benefits and a dedicated clinical team to support you on

Qualifications

One year's recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech is required.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.
ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification is required.
Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup following infection control protocols.
Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
Maintain accurate documentation including patient records and equipment logs.
Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and use of dosimeters.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
