Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Lexington, KY. The role involves scrubbing and assisting during complex cardiac procedures, with emphasis on hemodynamic monitoring and equipment preparation.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) certification, and state licensing as required. Travel assignment details include 18 weeks, 36 hours/week, and 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) certification required; CI/RCIS preferred or CCI-RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms with stock and equipment.
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures, including site entry and draping.
• Operate and ensure quality control of lab equipment.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist physician with catheter maneuvering.
• Record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data with appropriate equipment.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures.
• Assist in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR.
