MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Lexington, Kentucky. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week contract, with travel stipulations and credentialing support.

Qualified candidates will hold a current license, relevant certifications, and have two years of Cath Lab experience, ideally in a critical care setting.

• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains a high level of patient care through communication with patients, families and physicians.
• Functions under the supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assists during procedures by operating ancillary equipment and preparing catheters, wires and medications as ordered.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintains a safe, patient-focused environment and addresses patient needs promptly.
• Prepares and updates patient records accurately and legibly.
