The Cath Lab Technologist at The Good Life MedStaff, LLC supports physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The role involves operating specialized imaging equipment, monitoring vitals, maintaining sterile conditions, and ensuring patient safety before, during, and after procedures.

The position requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in cardiovascular or radiologic technology, BLS/ACLS credentials, and RCIS or RT certification as applicable by state.

Formación

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or related field.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• RCIS or RT certification (preferred or state-regulated).
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, EKG interpretation, and sterile techniques.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare the cardiac catheterization lab and sterilize equipment.
• Assist cardiologists during invasive procedures such as angiography and PCI.
• Monitor patient vitals and record data during procedures.
• Administer contrast media under physician direction and monitor for allergies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and radiation safety practices.
• Assist with patient transport and lab inventory.
