Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Detroit, MI seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts. Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting in interventional cardiac procedures alongside physicians.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and ARRT(R)-CI or equivalent credentials, with state licensing as required. This travel role offers tax-free stipends and a guaranteed schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and ACLS certification.
• ARRT (R) - CI preferred or equivalent licensing.
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience is required.
• Team-oriented and capable of multitasking in a busy lab.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms with stock and sterilization as needed.
• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures, including site entry and draping.
• Operate and ensure quality control of cardiac cath lab equipment.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician with catheter manipulation.
• Record hemodynamic data and operate fluoroscopic equipment.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures.
• Assist in life-saving measures such as CPR.
