Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Tech to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. You will prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamics, and ensure sterile technique while collaborating with the cardiology team.

The role requires one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications; radiology licensure and PALS/ENPC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certifications.
• Preferred licenses include Radiologic Technologist and PALS/ENPC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with diagnostic/interventional cardiovascular procedures: angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies.
• Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment.
• Prepare patients and equipment; monitor hemodynamic data; maintain sterile technique.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and document procedures.
• Manage supplies and adhere to safety/infection control standards.

Role:

Travel Cath Lab Tech

Responsibilities:

Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamic data, operate imaging and monitoring systems, maintain sterile technique, and ensure patient safety. Collaborate with healthcare team, document procedures, manage supplies, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum one year recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification. Preferred licenses include Radiologic Technologist and PALS/ENPC. Must demonstrate critical thinking, good communication, physical dexterity, and the ability to work under pressure. Visual acuity and interpersonal skills are essential.
