Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care in Olympia, WA is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the catheterization lab. Prepare patients, equipment, and monitor hemodynamic data while supporting physicians during procedures.

You will maintain sterile technique, document procedures, manage supplies, and ensure radiation safety and regulatory compliance as part of a collaborative healthcare team delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• At least one year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to handle equipment and assist with procedures.
• Proficiency in reading and following instructions, PC skills, and visual acuity.

Job description

Role and Responsibilities

Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.

Prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamic data, operate imaging and monitoring systems, and support physicians during procedures such as catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placement.

Maintain sterile technique, ensure patient safety, document procedures accurately, and manage supplies and inventory.

Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory standards while collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
