Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN for an Acute Care hospital in Missouri. Requirements include active MO or compact RN license, minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience (including recovery), and current ACLS/BLS certifications.

Role involves day shifts, on-call duties, and travel eligibility with EPIC charting. Travelers are welcome; Navy scrub color is required and residency must be outside a 75-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Active MO or compact RN license required (pending license accepted).
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required, including recovery experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Skilled in circulating procedures, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, medication administration, and procedural sedation monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Acute Care hospital setting within the Cath Lab unit.
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 5x8 hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
• On-call required 1-2 days a week plus every 3rd or 4th weekend.
• No weekend shift requirement outside of on-call rotation.
• No floating required outside of scope.
• EPIC charting system used.
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role.
• Navy scrub color required.
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility.
• Standard travelers may work up to 18 months total, followed by a required 3-month break in service.
• Permanent employees of the health system must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract, with no RTO allowed during the first week of the assignment.
