Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a cath lab travel assignment in Brunswick, GA. The role starts 11/02/2026 for 13 weeks, with day shifts (four 10-hour days, 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.).

You will provide pre- and post-procedure care, support PCI and diagnostic caths, monitor hemodynamics, maintain sterile technique, and participate in STEMI call rotations. Georgia licensure required; ADN/BSN encouraged; travel-friendly with 24/7 recruiter support.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the United States.
• Interventional/cath lab nursing experience preferred.
• Able to work day shift and participate in STEMI call schedule.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure care for cath lab patients.
• Assist the interventional cardiology team during procedures (PCI and diagnostic caths) with emphasis on sterile technique and patient safety.
• Monitor patient status, hemodynamics, and sedation; document findings and respond to alarms and changes in condition.
• Prepare and manage cath lab equipment, supplies, and room turnover; ensure radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and nursing staff; communicate patient status, plan of care, and post-procedure instructions.
• Participate in the STEMI call schedule as assigned, including on-call coverage during specified weekdays and weekends.
