Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab assignment in Alamogordo, NM. This onsite contract runs for 13 weeks with 10-hour days and a 4-day workweek, offering competitive compensation.

The RN will provide nursing care using the nursing process, administer medications per protocol, document patient history and care, and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs. BLS and NM RN license are required.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• 1 year of experience in cath lab or related nursing specialty preferred
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• RN license in NM or a compact state

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable One*** Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and families in accordance with their level of practice.
• Using the appropriate protocol, administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assess learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and resources.

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing

1 year of experience in related nursing specialty
