ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Charleston, West Virginia. The assignment is 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, consisting of 10-hour days and on-call weekends.

The Cath Lab RN will circulate, assess, and administer medications while collaborating with the medical team. WV RN license with ACLS/BLS is required; 2 years of RN experience and 1 year in Cath Lab preferred.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care in a dynamic environment, assisting in diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role requires the nurse to be proficient in all aspects of Cath Lab operations, including managing patient assessments, medication administration, and sedation during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the Cath Lab and administer moderate sedation.
• Conduct patient assessments before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications as per protocol.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
• 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting, competent in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Active West Virginia RN license required; pending license accepted for submission.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
