ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio. The Cath Lab RN will circulate, scrub, and monitor procedures in the lab and participate in after-hours call as needed.

The ideal candidate holds an Ohio RN license (or compact), current BLS and ACLS, and 18 months Cath Lab experience in a single location; strong documentation and patient education skills are required. 13-week assignment, 40 hours/week, day shift.

• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the Cath Lab, preferably within one location.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact license is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications must be in hand at the time of submission.
• A reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty within the past 12 months is required.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub during catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort.
• Participate in staffing and scheduling of procedures within the Cath Lab.
• Provide education and support to patients undergoing procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation during procedures.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will be responsible for circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring procedural cases within the catheterization lab. This role will also require participation in after-hours call as discussed during the interview process. The candidate must hold active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
