Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13-week assignment in Houston, TX. This RN will provide care in a cardiovascular surgical environment, assisting during angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology, and supporting the physician with EKG monitoring.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS, and is prepared for a 10-hour day shift, 40 hours per week. Travel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care nursing experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support physicians during angioplasty, cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology.
• Monitor EKG equipment and patient status throughout procedures.
• Assist with device implantations and post-procedure care.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with patient transfers.
