Qualifications

• BSN preferred for nursing practice.
• All Diploma/ADN hires must complete a BSN within 60 months of hire or have 5+ years RN experience.
• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing with stroke education requirements.
• Graduate from NLN/CCNE-accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect health data, develop a family-centered care plan.
• Create individualized care plans with evidence-based practice.
• Initiate treatments, meds, and emergency measures as needed.
• Document progress and reevaluate outcomes for quality care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and cost-effective care.
• Mentor staff and promote continuous learning within the unit.

Education

Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) - Preferred
