Job summary

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (Cath Lab RN) for a travel opportunity in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role requires recent Cath Lab experience and strong critical care skills to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

The ideal candidate will have an active RN license (Compact accepted), BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the United States (Compact accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications per AHA standards.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required.
• No employment gaps exceeding 90 days in work history.
• Previous permanent employee status at the facility may disqualify.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and recovery.
• Administer medications and sedation as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient safety.
