Job summary

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory RN for a travel role in Pittsburgh, PA. This travel position offers a 13-week contract with day shifts and call requirements.

You will support diagnostic and interventional procedures, collaborate with physicians, and ensure patient safety across all phases of care. Candidates should hold an active RN license (compact accepted), BLS and ACLS, and have at least 2 years Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience.
• One professional reference required.
• No employment gaps exceeding 90 days in work history.
• Previous permanent employees of the facility may not be eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-procedure patient assessments.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and recovery.
• Administer medications and sedation as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
